AAF Phoenix Ad Club Celebrates 80 Years of Connecting the Valley’s Marketing and Advertising Professionals

Official Celebration to Be Held Friday, Nov. 3 with a ‘Back to the ‘80s’ Party at Warehouse 215 @ Bentley Projects

PHOENIX, (Monday, October 23, 2017) – AAF Phoenix, local chapter of the American Advertising Federation and the Valley’s leading network of advertising, marketing and communications specialists, is celebrating 80 years of connecting creative professionals with their Back to the Eighties Anniversary party on Friday, Nov. 3 at Warehouse 215 @ Bentley Projects.

The ‘80s themed night will not only honor AAF Phoenix’s 80 years of service, but also celebrate the end of another successful Phoenix Design Week, the signature event of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Phoenix.

“It is a testament to the Valley’s advertising community that we are celebrating 80 years as an organization,” said Amy Packard Berry, president of the AAF Phoenix board. “I am honored to be serving as president as we celebrate this outstanding achievement. Our board’s mission is to bring members together, provide quality programming, and instill the same passion for creativity that our founders had 80 years ago.”

Tickets to the event cost $25 for AIGA Arizona and AAF Phoenix members who register in advance, $40 at the door or for non-members. Access to the event is also included for Phoenix Design Week Method + Madness two-day ticketholders.

“We’re going big with ‘Back to the 80’s” says Stephanie Walszek, also of the AAF Phoenix board. “With a live band, 80’s gallery wall of local agency and media members, and much more, this event will be one for the ages.”

Doors open at 7 pm. Admission includes appetizers, cash bar (members will receive one drink ticket), photo booth and live entertainment provided by Rhythm Edition.
